Subscriber #0001

There comes a time when an idea is put into action that after all the long days of grinding away at an idea, emails, phone calls, the long nights, the stresses of wondering if things are going to work or not...a time when you flip the switch to go...the green light...the real test...and then BOOM...subscriber #0001 forever enters your life.

It happened about an hour and a half or maybe 2 hours after unlocking the website to the world and the email came through. Someone had subscribed the the Bowhunter Box Club! Without realizing the implication on their end they entered my life as Subscriber #0001. I was incredibly blessed to get someone so passionate about bowhunting and so excited about the concept of getting a box full of bowhunting gear every month that it almost seemed like a dream!

Subscriber #0001, John Fulton, has shown me support and passion that just fueled my fire to provide service and value more than you can imagine. I do not know John personally and I have not met John yet, but I can tell you I look forward to the day that I get to shake his hand in person and thank him. John has not only supported this business but has reached out to me on numerous occasions leading up the first box shipment showing his excitement...from wanting to make sure he knew the ship date so the postal service couldn't mess up the delivery, to making sure it didn't show up while he was on vacation so it was left unattended, and even to just making sure that he was signed up to continue to get future shipments and not miss a month. I mean if I was to sit down and write the story as if it were a movie I couldn't have dreamt having this from my very first subscriber! 

So to John Fulton...Thank you, my friend! You'll go down in the history books of Bowhunter Box Club as Subscriber #0001 and always hold a special place in my heart for the belief you've had in me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
